Crocs Mammoth UK Prices

October 14th, 2007 Dr Crocs No comments

Crocs Mammoth is the success story of the season and now competes with the Cayman for first place in the Crocs Chart. This adapted Crocs Cayman has been flying of the shelves this Autumn in both Adult and Kids size. Initially led by the big retailers like Next and Littlewoods, the smaller retailers are now getting a look in and Crocs Mammoth prices are becoming more competitive, and the availablity of the elusive Wooly Mammoth much better. You may still have to hunt around to find the colour and size you are looking for and the assurance that your choice will be shipped quickly.

I’ve now added a Price Comparison for Kids Crocs Mammoth to the crocs section of the website.

Urgent Scam Alert – Creeps.TV

September 12th, 2007 Dr Crocs 15 comments

For those of you familiar with my Blog, you’ll know that the Crox / Creeps saga has been ongoing with this company delivering Clog like Crocs fakes in the wrong sizes and colours. Now things have got worse and (the) Creeps have been taking peoples money and delivering nothing. They have always failed to respond to any attempt to contact them, but this morning’s feedback from Ruth is the last straw with these guys.

Its turned from poor customer service to an outright dishonest Crocs scam in my book. I want Creeps.TV closed down and customers to get ALL their money back.

Hey Creeps – you’ve had long enough to get real and be honest. You’ve now crossed the line and awoken the sleeping giant that is “The Dr Crocs blog”. Now the gloves are off and you’re going down! :D

Golden Rule 1 – If you don’t have the stock don’t charge people – how simple is that!

Golden Rule 2 – Don’t avoid (in this case totally hide) from the customer if things go wrong

Creeps.TV is a SCAM website

Creeps.tv is a scam

Ruth writes …

“I have another case where they’ve taken my money but not delivered anything. I ordered 3 adult pairs and haven’t received anything.
I’ve emailed them 3 times to try and find out when they will deliver and finally to request a refund of my money. I have received read receipts for all the emails so I know they’ve received and read the messages but they haven’t bothered to reply to any of them. To me this indicates that they aren’t just poorly organised but are dishonest!
I’ve contacted the local trading standards office and have raised a complaint with Paypal. I’m surprised that Paypal haven’t removed their merchant account as they must have had numerous complaints!”

Crocs Supply News at LAMCS

July 12th, 2007 Dr Crocs 4 comments

I have good news :) and bad news :( this week from LAMCS, who being the most popular Crocs supplier in the UK are a good barometer of what’s happening out there in Crocsland (more precisely what’s happening at Crocs EU headquarters in the Netherlands).

Okay the good news first. LAMCS has received a huge (8000 pairs) delivery of Crocs Caymans, both Adults Crocs Cayman and Kids Crocs Cayman. This means they are able to fill all those Crocs backorders AND crucially have a really good stock status online for Adult Crocs Caymans and in many of the popular sizes and colours are now in stock.

Now the bad news. LAMCS have temporary withdrawn their excellent pre-order facility due to “uncertainty in the Crocs supply chain”. To Dr Crocs that’s PR spin for Crocs Europe are big on the promises and short (make that very short) on delivery. I have heard this from other retailers. The knock on effect means LAMCS have temporary removed the new summer styles from their website as they have taken as many pre-orders as they can foreseeably fill.

Sassari went two weeks ago then Kids Caymans and now *all* the new Crocs flip flop styles are all gone from the website, albeit “temporarily”.

LAMCS hopes to reinstate these new style Crocs when they actually receive a physical shipment (and fulfill the pre-orders they already have). Their website states that is hopefully next week.

I’m glad to see that rather than risk disappointing their customers with uncertain delivery times, LAMCS have taken the bold step to remove the items temporarily. That’s gotta hurt when you are a retailer.

This should help a lot when you have to search multiple websites to find Crocs in the exact size and colour you need. Unfortunatley while there is a general Crocs shortage going on, affecting all retailers, the cheapest Crocs supplier might not have any in stock or have to put your order on back order for weeks.

I have spoken to several Crocs retailers this week and it seems that Crocs Europe in the Netherlands are just getting back on track with their supplies after a major warehouse move so hopefully over the next couple of months things will become much easier with Crocs supplies. If you can’t wait that long then you may have to look long and hard for Crocs in stock at this point and if necessary pay a little extra.

From what I can see (and I see a lot), no UK Crocs retailers have been tempted to jack up prices in the current climate. There are no rip-off Crocs sellers out there and the Internet market is still very competitive.

Happy Croc hunting anyway!

Crocs Athens from £22.50 delivered

May 15th, 2007 Dr Crocs No comments

Despite the period of poor weather we are having this week, interest in the Crocs Athens flip flop hasn’t shown any signs of tailing off. I guess it must be all the Brits planning a May getaway to more sunnier climes – I’m jealous. I’ve now added a Croc sAthens price comparision page for the Crocs Athens to the All the Shoes website.

Athens Crocs

The Crocs Athens in stock situation seems pretty reasonable with one note of caution. As I have written before, fit feet uk are the cheapest supplier for many Crocs styles but the precise stock situation there is currently unknown. Don’t be suprised if your order is put on back order.

Their web site has several messages that indicate to me that the stock situation may not be as rosy as it appears. Including We are unable to show stock levels on the site at this time due to the speed at which they change, making them one of the few sites that “appear” to have all the styles in all the colours and sizes in stock.

On the positive – when they do have the stock, either now or in the future they will no doubt honour their low prices.
