Merrell Pantheon

The Merrell Pantheon – classic Merrell architecture at work. I’ve always had a soft spot for Merrell and the Pantheon must be one of their all time greats. It looks the business – and does the business. A multisport shoe like the Pantheon trainer needs to score highly in the traction area – and this one gets top marks with its Ortholite multi-directional sole grip. Then you need firmly close and comfortable fit without getting you foot soaking in interior moisture in action. For the one you get padded tongue and collar, and Merrell’s Air Cushion technology, all held to your feet with the cord locking system so it won’t come loose until you want it to. Then that foot wetness? No problem with Aegis mesh that’ll also help with foot odour. And finally the exterior! From moulded rubber toe bumper; via waterproof and breathable leather and mesh uppers; to the neat twin pull tags on heel and tongue – all held together by the sweeping overlay bands that finish off the Pantheon visually with great looks – I’m now anxious to get them on and put them to the test wherever and whenever I roam. How about you?
