What do I say next? That’s amore? I was at an Italian restaurant and a meatball leapt off my plate and onto my shoe because it felt like home? Am I just not hiphop enough to understand the charm of the Nike Dunk Hi Skinny? Or am I not young enough to know what’s fresh?
Yes I understand that the Dunk Hi Skinny has multidirectional striped flex grooves for responsive cushioning, special Phylon sockliner and EVA midsole, and a flexible rubber cupsole with reinforced top stitching. They’re top quality, of course. But please, help me to understand these shoes stylistically.

Despite the name Dunk Hi Skinny, no-one wearing these sneakers will ever dunk a basketball. Shouldn’t they be called “Enjoy-a-latte Go-shopping Skinny”?
